KUALA LUMPUR – 2 July 2021 – The Malaysian PropTech Association voted in a new and extended committee to lead the organization for the 2021-2023 tenure.
The Malaysia PropTech Association is an active organization with 60+ Malaysian members all promoting the PropTech & ConTech industries at large in Malaysia and abroad. MPA was founded in 2017 and had humble beginnings. As the industry has grown over the past years, and more Malaysian technology companies are bringing new products and services to the market, so also has MPA grown steadily.
The past year was extremely successful with a large number of online events, reaching out all over the Asian region, and as far as Japan, Australia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
New MPA Committee Members
15 Malaysia PropTech Association committee members have committed themselves to roll out the organization’s roadmap, and spread the word to students, universities, industry partners, government agencies and related organizations. The new committee will be working towards the growth and expansion of the PropTech and Contech industries.
2-Year PropTech Roadmap
For the coming two years the Malaysia PropTech Association has planned a roadmap full of attractive activities, events, member drives, strategic partnerships with private and public stakeholders, and seeking strong cooperation with Universities to enable better connectivity between the academic and the business worlds.
Asian PropTech Summit
During the second half of 2021, MPA is organizing the first Asian PropTech Summit 2021, a global virtual event hosted from Malaysia, with the intention of raising the awareness of all Malaysian PropTech players and Malaysia at large. The event will have a global appeal, reaching out towards the Asia Pacific region, the Americas, and the European continent.
This first Asian PropTech Summit will showcase speakers from a large range of geographic areas, and address topics as technology, funding, collaborations, and more.
